About this event:

First activity for the year, a walk about around the Mt. Coot-tha Botanical Gardens planned for the 17th January. As first Subject for 2021, is  “Circles, Rectangles or Triangles “, Look at the hothouse. there must be something in the gardens to be photographed with this subject in mind. Meet at the front entrance around 8.00-8.15 am and continue on from there.

Remember, as this is in January please bring water/drinks in case the weather is a bit on the warm side and definitely a hat/umbrella as you may need it.

Latest from Daryl: Hello all members. Please take notice that the first outing for club members is scheduled to go ahead Sunday 17 Jan at Mt. Coot-tha Gardens at Toowong. Planned start is between 8.00 am and 8.15 am; there are no special plans to follow for the morning except that you may need a good hat and water and please bring a mask. As a thought, probably a good idea to bring along a tripod naturally with a maybe macro lens, wide angle or telephoto lens hopefully for some lilies in the lagoons. Not sure about the cafeteria at the front entrance though if it is open, however feel free to bring along your own morning tea as we may wish to gather for a picnic stop.
