About this event:

Created by programsofficer

Continued from January presentations, ACC Members will continue to present their PERSONAL PROJECTS from 2020 – some completed and some ongoing.

Come along and support your fellow club members who will be continuing with the Personal Project Presentations which began at our last presentations evening in January. I’m sure everyone will agree seeing what projects members have been undertaking  over the past 12 months has been inspiring.

To round off the evening after supper, Peter Law and Dianne Hodge will be doing a special presentation to demystify June’s set subject ‘ABSTRACT‘. Peter will be doing a short and simple introduction, briefly highlighting the history of Abstract Photography, as in his words, ‘we stand on the shoulders of giants’ in the world of abstract photography.

Dianne will be demystifying what Abstract Photography is, expanding on the Set Subject descriptor and providing lots of food for thought and easy ways to approach this genre. This is in response to conversations with members who have expressed anxiety about approaching this genre of photography – so be prepared to be enthused and inspired, with lots of ideas to take away and start preparing your images for the June competition.
