Since my teenage years I’ve been interested in cameras and photography, although family raising took over for a while. The emergence of consumer digital cameras around 2000 re-ignited my interest. Since then I’m moved from prosumer cameras to sophisticated mirrorless ones. Landscapes, still-life, flowers and forgotten or disregarded items are my special interests at present. I want my images to engage viewers because the images are artful, or tell stories, present subjects in an unusual way, or have unusual subjects. After all, even weeds can be attractive. They’re just growing in the wrong place.
